Spring 2011CEP 805: Learning Math with Technology
Dr. Ralph Putnam This course combined the use of technology in the classroom with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics' "Principles and Standards of School Mathematics." We focused on the the multiple representations of mathematics, instructional functions, and specific content being addressed within each technological tool we learned about. At the end of the course, we were asked to create our own wikispace site with electronic tools we could use in our own classroom. TE 831: Teaching School Subject Matter with Technology
Professor Erik Byker This class truly had me dive in head first to so many different technological resources out there for educators. Every week we would have a new topic and resource to try and then we were able to create something authentic that we could use in our own classrooms. Here is an example of a technology lesson in which I repurposed Microsoft Excel and also make a screen-cast for my students.
